Britt Awarded Internship with ABC's 'Nightline' with Ted Koppel A recent Emory & Henry graduate seeking a master's degree in film-making at Ohio University has been awarded an internship with ABC's ''Nightline,'' a news program hosted by Ted Koppel. Blevins Honored by Virginia Association of Broadcasters An Emory & Henry College student from West Jefferson, N.C., has been awarded the largest statewide broadcasting scholarship given to a college student in Virginia. Graduates Join Forces to Produce Interactive TV Series Two 1992 Emory & Henry graduates who have been pursuing independent film writing and production careers are hoping to combine their talents on an interactive television program. Gift Helps Start EHC-TV Programming Winton Lackey (E&H Class of 1955) and Donna Fanelli had heard a good bit about Dr. Teresa Keller, the chair of the Emory & Henry College Mass Communications Department who over the years has developed one of the most popular degree programs at the college. Keller named recipient of 2003 Virginia Professor of the Year award With Dr. Teresa Keller's recognition as the 2003 Virginia Professor of the Year, Emory & Henry has been represented by the recipient of this award five times in the last 15 years. UVA and Virginia Tech each have been honored by the award three times. |
