Multiple Career Opportunities The graduates of Emory & Henry's existing management degree program are among the most sought after at the College. Graduates of the new ISB program should be no less successful. Their breadth and range of skills will enable them to select from a great variety of careers in this country and abroad. These careers could be in the following areas:
  • Business and industry
  • Banking, accountancy, and financial services
  • Special economic analysts or public policy advisors
  • International organizations and multinationals
  • Further graduate study in management, law, and public policy.
Main elements

The program consists of seven components:
  • A Combined Business and Economics Core approached from a comparative and international perspective;
  • Language: Attaining sufficient fluency in a foreign language;
  • An International Studies Core: Providing an integrative and unifying structure to the ISB interdisciplinary program;
  • Liberal Arts I: Satisfying the General Education Requirement of the College;
  • Liberal Arts II: Developing an international context through courses in history, literature, philosophy, political science, and religion; (1) chose from one of the international studies concentration areas offered by the College: East Asian, European Community, and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies; or (2) individually design an international studies concentration;
  • Study Abroad: An international experience through an appropriate study abroad program;
  • A Capstone Experience: of either a Senior Seminar in International Studies or an Independent Senior Project.
