Final examinations
Final examinations are given at the end of each semester, embracing substantially
all of the work done in class during the entire term. The schedule for
final examinations is determined by the Academic Council upon recommendation
of the Registrar. Exceptions to this schedule may be authorized only by
the Dean of Faculty. Examinations missed because of emergency may be made
up with consent of the instructor and the Committee on Academic Standards.
Ordinarily the make-up examination should be taken within one month of
the date of the regularly scheduled examination; in no event may it be
taken later than the end of the following semester.
