Early decision Students who have thoroughly researched their college options and have determined that Emory & Henry College is their first choice are encouraged to consider applying under the Early Decision Plan. Although these students may file regular applications with other colleges, it is understood that they are only applying for Early Decision at Emory & Henry College and intend to enroll if admitted. To be considered for Early Decision, a student should submit the completed Application for Admission, including the Early Decision Agreement; secondary school transcript; and a report of either the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I) or American College Test (ACT) by December 1. The college agrees to notify the candidates of their admission by December 20. The $200 enrollment deposit deadline for Early Decision is January 20. Under Early Decision, students will either be admitted or deferred to Regular Admission, for which they will receive full and unbiased consideration. |
